In fact, our Hampton Avenue location is one of the cleanest operating hot mix asphalt facilities in the state. This plant only emits 2.6% of the allowable particulate and less then three tenths of one percent of the target for Benzene (allowed by the Environmental Protection Agency EPA), as monitored by the state of Wisconsin. In addition to low particulate, this facility burns clean natural gas vs. facilities that burn "heavy oil" or reclaimed drain oil.
